Hi,
I work for Northcountry Cooperative Federal Credit Union, a cooperative that borrows and lends money to and from our members which include members of cooperatives and cooperatives themselves. We specialize in “share loans” to individuals purchasing shares of housing cooperatives. I see that the Hub Housing Cooperative can do its own financing, but I wonder if your cooperative would benefit from spreading the risk of lending by becoming a member of the Credit Union and having the Credit Union lend to new members that need financing. If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call me at 612-767-2110.
Thanks,
Pierce
